Allu Arjun arrested by Hyderabad Police

Allu Arjun has once again become the talk of the nation now. This time, the Icon Star is in the news for an unpleasant reason. On Friday, the Telangana police arrested the star in connection with a stampede case on December 4. This unfortunate event was sparked by a tragic incident involving the death of a woman last week during his recently released film Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere show. Allu Arjun attended a highly anticipated premiere at a theatre in RTC X Roads without prior notice to the police. Neither Allu Arjun nor the theatre management cared to inform the police regarding his attendance, and this lack of communication raised concerns as the gathering turned into a distressing circumstance. During this premiere, Allu Arjun was accompanied by his co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, and his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy. 

The Hyderabad police team, headed by the assistant commissioner, visited Allu Arjun's house and took him into custody. The police have already arrested three persons, including a co-partner of the theatre, for risking people's lives. While filing the FIR, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Central Zone, Hyderabad Police, Akshansh Yadav, told the media that "A case has been filed under BNS section 105 (punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) r/w 3(5) (voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt) at Chikkadpally police station based on the complaint of the family members of the deceased person. It is being investigated. Stringent action as per law will be taken against all the persons responsible for the chaotic situation inside the theatre leading to the death of a person and injury to others."

Allu Arjun's recent flick Pushpa 2: The Rule has been declared a blockbuster hit. The film is reportedly said to have collected close to 1100 Crores and is running successfully throughout the country and abroad. His fans and film fraternity are shocked by the star's arrest.
