An explosion near the famous Red Fort shocked Delhi on November 10, 2025. Around 6:52 pm, a slow-moving car exploded, killing nine people and injuring 20. As a result of the explosion, several nearby vehicles were damaged, and people were panicked.

A white Hyundai i20 was parked near a traffic signal near the Red Fort Metro Station. An image from CCTV showed the suicide bomber's car and a man named Dr. Umar Mohammad. Investigators are still looking into the case, and top security agencies like the NIA and NSG are on the scene.


After this tragic incident, the government has stepped up security around Delhi, especially near railway stations and temples. The authorities asked people to keep calm and stop spreading rumors. Both Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have been kept updated and have expressed condolences.
